It's week 9 already, wow time is flying. This week wekk will see the culmination of our "Trash to Treasure" inquiry unit. Room 5 has been working hard to find ways to "reuse" the trash at school and create cool items to sell at our M Block market day.
We have moved on to area and perimeter for maths and Room 5 has been working on verbs, adverb and adjectives for writing. They have used these to write some really cool recounts about the M Block trolley derby.
On a fun note, the Super XV playoffs continue with three of the four teams remaining enjoying support from members of Room 5. Dylan will no doubt get a hard time from Coby and Kaleb who are both staunch Stormers fans, while Mr Appleyard will continue to back the thoroughbred team.
